As part of our in-house Tax team, you will assist Tax Directors/Managers on the Group’s tax filings and ad-hoc tax projects. In the process, you will strengthen your direct and indirect taxation skills, and gain invaluable tax technical, commercial and legislative insights in the industry and the fast-evolving Digital Economy sector.
Make an Impact by:
- Assist in tax compliance functions for both direct and indirect tax such as preparation of Singapore corporate income tax returns, quarterly GST returns and withholding tax clearance.
- Support Tax Directors/Managers on the preparation of current and deferred tax provision calculations.
- Support Tax Directors/Managers on general queries raised by Business such as tax implication on business transactions and business product offerings.
- Support Tax Directors/Managers on tax projects such as GST ACAP and Corporate Tax Risk Management (“CTRM”) review.
- Provide general administrative support such as tax automation and work process improvement.
Skills for Success:
- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy. Prior experience or knowledge in accounting or tax fields will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel features such as formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, VBA and macros
- Adept in other Microsoft office applications
- Proficient in SAP accounting system (Optional)
- Good team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, detailed oriented and work independently with minimal supervision.
