Team Leader, Enterprise Banking – Services Industry (Healthcare, Education & Essential Services)

How you succeed
Lead and manage a team of Relationship Managers covering clients in the healthcare, education, and essential services sectors. You will be accountable for portfolio P&L, credit quality, and fee income performance. This role demands deep sector insight, strong financial acumen, and the ability to innovate and collaborate across internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.
What you do
1. Business & Portfolio Management
- Drive portfolio performance across lending, deposits, and fee income of the team of Relationship Manager
- Oversee portfolio P&L, balancing growth, returns, and risk.
- Structure and review credit proposals with rigorous cashflow-based analysis.
- Identify new financing and cross-sell opportunities, including structured and M&A-related solutions.
- Strengthen recurring income through treasury and transaction banking products.
2. Client Relationship & Coverage
- Manage and deepen mid to large client relationships across healthcare, education, and essential services.
- Understand each client’s unique needs and deliver value-led advisory.
- Collaborate with product partners (Global Markets, Cash, Trade, Investment Banking) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Maintain strong senior-level client connectivity to identify growth and operational needs.
- Represent the Bank in key client and industry engagements.
3. Fee & Cross-Sell Growth
- Expand secured fee wallet through treasury, cash management, and advisory solutions.
- Drive adoption of digital and transaction banking products to enhance client stickiness.
- Partner with product and sector specialists to deliver innovative, value-accretive solutions.
4. People Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Relationship Managers to meet business and client objectives.
- Strengthen sector expertise, credit advisory, and solutioning capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture built on accountability and innovation.
5. Risk & Governance
- Maintain strong credit vigilance and proactively manage portfolio quality.
- Ensure compliance with internal risk, regulatory, and conduct standards.
- Identify early warning indicators and implement timely risk mitigation.
- Uphold governance, credit, and operational risk frameworks.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (postgraduate qualifications an advantage).
- ED Level – Minimum 10-15 years of commercial or corporate banking experience, including at least 3 years in a team leadership or senior RM role.
- Strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and deal structuring skills.
- Deep understanding of healthcare, education, and essential services business models.
- Proven ability to innovate and design client-centric solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and disciplined in execution.
