Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of system maintenance and upgrade activities, including coordination of internal development and testing efforts, client communication, and deployment planning
  • Continuously monitor, track, and resolve system defects and security vulnerabilities, working closely with internal and external teams
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive maintenance reports such as monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to keep stakeholders informed
  • Lead issue resolution workflows in tracking systems and provide customers with detailed
  • After-Action Reports (AARs), Incident Reports (IRs), and related documentation
  • Ensure a strong understanding of and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to software maintenance and customer support
  • Demonstrate a high level of ownership, positive professional attitude, and resilience under pressure

The Ideal Candidate Should be

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing software maintenance projects and activities
    Hands-on experience working with large-scale Kubernetes clusters; solid knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations
  • Proficient in Linux operating systems, with practical experience in deploying and managing projects in Linux-based environments (Redhat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Strong understanding of software lifecycle management, version control, and security patching
  • Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and business discussions
  • Development background is a plus; familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Go is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of IT security standards, for instance from CIS or IM8.
  • Experience in IT security policy management and enforcing IT security
