Description
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our APAC team and drive strategic machine learning data management initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. This role will be critical in managing capacity pipeline data, coordinating with Business Development teams, and supporting GenAI infrastructure planning across key APAC locations.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Pipeline Coordination
– Collect, analyze, and manage capacity pipeline data from Business Development teams across APAC region
– Synchronize demand and supply data to ensure alignment and accuracy
– Maintain data integrity and establish standardized processes for data collection and reporting
– Build and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms for capacity tracking
Program Management
– Lead cross-functional coordination between regional BD teams and central Machine Learning demand planning team
– Manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables for Machine Learning capacity planning initiatives
– Drive process improvements and automation opportunities in data collection workflows
– Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders
Business Operations Support
– Support BizOps functions including goals setting, business reviews, and supply health reporting
– Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making for AWS data center supply strategy team
– Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on capacity status and forecasts
– Track and report on key performance indicators and operational metrics
Strategic Planning
– Contribute to strategic planning for AI data center capacity in the APAC region
– Support GPU capacity planning and infrastructure expansion initiatives
– Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the ML capacity landscape
– Partner with stakeholders to develop long-term capacity strategies

Basic Qualifications
– Experience previously in program or project management
– Experience working with cross-functional teams
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of data scientist experience
– Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc.
– Experience managing multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or process improvement roles
– Experience in engineering, designing, or constructing data centers
– Knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference
