We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Project Management Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on experience managing technical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and a passion for technology.

 

Make An Impact By

  • Providing support and assistance to Lead IT Project Manager in managing overall project delivery that entails project management processes such as initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing project
  • Supporting Lead IT Project Manager in managing and tracking project fundamentals such as budget, scope, schedule, deliverables, quality, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, constraints and project change management process
  • Supporting Lead IT Project Manager in gathering inputs on regular basis for reporting project progress and project financial updates as well as ensuring relevant project information is kept up-to-date
  • Supporting Lead IT Project Manager in contract and vendor management, procurement management and financial management
  • Assisting Lead IT Project Manager in organizing key project activities and events such as project launches, project meetings, project workshops and project training sessions
  • Assisting Lead IT Project Manager in preparing relevant project artefacts/documents to comply with Group IT Project Delivery Methodology, Group IT Governance and other relevant Group-wide organization processes, policies, standards and frameworks
  • Assisting Lead IT Project Manager in preparing presentation materials for reporting key project updates to Executive Steering Committee, Project Steering Committee and Project Working Committee
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as part of delivering project goals, including supporting Lead IT Project Manager in resolving project issues, addressing project risk mitigations/contingencies and settling project disputes
  • Working with stakeholders to automate and document internal processes for more streamlined way of managing projects
  • Supporting Lead IT Project Manager in requirements gathering and validation, solution development and testing, deployment, UAT and solution commissioning
  • Work in an Agile environment (SCRUM)
  • Assist technical projects which will touch languages and applications such as Java, Kubernetes, Azure, PostGresql and Springboot

 

Skills for Success: 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in project management and technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with technical projects or internships in a tech environment.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
