Treasury Apprentice 2025
We’re looking for talented, driven Polytechnic graduates to join our 12-month Treasury Apprenticeship Programme. Over a year, you’ll get involved with real world projects, learn on the job and build your network across the Bank.
Treasury is responsible for managing and deploying the Bank’s liquidity, funding, capital, and financial resources in line with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s risk appetite. The Treasury role is central to ensuring the bank’s financial stability, operational efficiency and optimising liquidity and cash flows, managing financial risks, and aligning liquidity strategies with the bank’s overall strategic objectives.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our Treasury business, you’ll join either the Treasury Liquidity team, or the Treasury Chief Operating Office.
Treasury Liquidity involves analysing financial data to drive informed decision-making, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and leading innovation to improve operational procedures.
You’ll get involved in
• Assessing liquidity risk
• Funding planning of the bank to ensure there is enough stable funding to support the asset side of the balance sheet.
• Meeting liquidity and funding regulatory requirements
• Funding transfer pricing management
Treasury Chief Operating Office (COO) are critical in driving forwards Treasury strategic programmes of work, financial management and operational risk and governance. You’ll get involved in projects such as:
• Fit for Growth programme, simplifying, standardising and digitising capabilities
• Deliver strategy, forecasting, analytics and risk management capabilities for Treasury balance sheet optimisation and performance management.
• Cost Management Excellence: Steering Treasury towards the future with a focus on optimising budget allocation to prioritise high-value activities.
About the Apprenticeship Programme
During this learning journey, you will embark on two 6 months rotations. You will be exposed to different projects and tasks, alongside structured trainings, mentorship, and on-the-job learning. Through the programme, you’ll experience an incredible and varied global learning experience, which include:

Eligibility
• We welcome graduates from all Polytechnic Diploma disciplines with less than 2 years of working experience.
• Have the permanent legal right to work in Singapore
• Keen interest in Banking and Finance industry
