General Description

We are seeking a VP, Payment Operations Data Analytics to lead our initiatives in payment analytics, process optimization and digitalization within payment operations. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who is passionate about leveraging data to transform payment processes and enhance operational efficiency through innovative solutions.

You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses of payment data and stakeholder requirements, ensuring that all perspectives are considered in the design and execution of comprehensive end-to-end payment solutions. Your work will involve a thorough understanding of business, operational, and risk needs, enabling you to create data-driven solutions that meet current demands and anticipate future challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics:

  • Drive payment innovation by leveraging data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and streamline payment processes.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify areas requiring improvement in payment processes, ensuring that decisions are data driven.
  • Create and implement dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights into payment processing trends, user behaviour, and system performance, enabling data driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers and developers, to ensure that data analytics initiatives align with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data analytics processes and outcomes.

Design and Implement AI Solutions:

  • Oversee the design and implementation of AI solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency of payment processing systems.
  • Transform payment processing through innovative AI technologies, driving greater efficiency, security, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for AI integration within payment systems, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

 Operational Readiness & Change Management:

  • Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful implementation of new payment systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including project managers and product managers to ensure operational readiness for large-scale projects, including comprehensive training and support for end-users.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of changes on operational processes, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management on progress and outcomes.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in operations transformation, payment innovation or data analytics.
  • Proven track record in operational readiness and change management for large-scale projects, demonstrating the ability to lead initiatives from conception to successful implementation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and end-users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and the ability to articulate design concepts and project goals clearly.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within payment processes.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly in the context of payment processing systems, and the ability to identify integration opportunities that enhance efficiency and security.
  • Updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to payment systems and data analytics, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
