Make an Impact by:
- To lead, engage and guide the Deal Management and TRM team to optimise manpower resources to ensure operational efficiency and cultivate sense of ownership/accountability within the team.
- To prepare Transit product budget and forecast, justifications and budget variance analysis.
- To prepare and allocate Sell Transit Targets to the Carrier Account Managers (“RBM”), and measure RBM achievement against the allocated targets in monthly product reporting.
- Deal evaluation for both bilateral and transit businesses: to act as a traffic and process gatekeeper; help to coordinate the outgoing traffic commitment and arrange out-routes for incoming traffic commitment to optimize Retail cost saving and maximise Transit margin. Ensure that commercial voice deal is evaluated based on its cost competitiveness and quality vs market.
- Administer the cost subsidy transfer process to align with the deal evaluation and ensure proper month-end execution and reporting.
- Engage the RBM to drive down the route cost thru’ swap deals/Least Cost Route (“LCR”)/Cost on Direct (“COD”) to improve the overall product margin performance.
- Benchmarking with the dynamic market, to refresh the Transit Minimum Selling Price (“MSP”) /Route Threshold Cost (“RTC”) monthly and review all default/specific route setting to ensure all route cost is < MSP/Pricing Exception (“PE”).
- Broadcast Transit push destinations, drive the RBM to engage carriers for traffic and target, review and approve Transit PE to win over more Transit traffic.
- Oversee the implementation of general and specific route change for both 1-way and swap traffic; to maximise Transit margin and address the Trouble Tickets raised by overseas carrier counterparts on route quality issues, to maximise Transit margin.
- To manage OptusP as a Transit carrier account. Working closely with Optus Transit Product Manager to leverage on each other’s cost-effective routes to maximise Transit margin.
- Review of Gold Bundle rate offer to OptusG requested by all the RBMs to ensure the guidelines are being adhered to.
- To support the scoping and design workshop for IVMS with the appointed vendor perform UAT prior to system cutover.
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor in Business or Marketing.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Carrier Voice services, Product Management as people manager, managing a team with financial KPIs.
- Experience in financial analysis, product management and process improvement.
- Strong business acumen and ability to construct and evaluate business case and portfolio performance.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across diverse teams.
- Good problem solving and process management skills.
