What You Do
Audit Management
- Lead and conduct credit risk audits of the wholesale portfolios in the Bank, adhering to Group Audit’s standards and key performance indicators, while ensuring timely completion and delivery of all audit findings and reports
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls related to wholesale banking, including areas of credit origination and review, credit risk management, portfolio management, problem recognition and remedial management, as well as business strategies and credit risk governance
- Provide value-added opinions and recommendations to improve the design and effectiveness of internal controls
- Review and assess the appropriateness of audit issues, recommendations, and management responses, as well as adequacy of evidence for closure of management action plans
- Assist in the development of the department’s annual audit plan
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the audit methodology, standards, and practices
People Management
- For audit leads, motivate and manage the audit team to ensure that the audit engagements are conducted with the highest standards of professional ethics, competence, due professional care, independence and objectivity
- Work with a team of internal auditors in the planning, scoping, and execution of audits related to wholesale banking activities
- Meet key performance indicators that will enable the Division to meet or exceed its mission and goals
- Adopt a prudent risk and compliance culture that promotes good ethics, accountability and good conduct
Stakeholder Management
- Work as business partners with stakeholders and senior leadership across the Group, to communicate audit findings and agree on appropriate risk mitigation and remediation actions
- Foster strong and enduring relationships with the business and act as a trusted advisor on risk and controls

Who You Are
- At least 10-15 years of relevant credit and business experience in corporate or commercial banking
- Comprehensive understanding of credit underwriting and assessment principles, credit risk management and portfolio management process, as well as wholesale banking products
- Familiar with credit related regulatory requirements in Singapore and overseas locations
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain balanced risk-reward perspectives
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in data analytics tools and techniques
- Ability to interact with people at different levels and work in a team
- High level of initiative and drive, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the year
