This role will be responsible for leading a team of product owners to deliver the product vision and road map of the wholesale and SME banking platforms in partnership with business and technology partners.

What you do

  • Work with the platform lead to develop a strategy and execution plan to support the business growth of the wholesale and SME banking segments
  • Lead a team of product owners to implement and deliver features and offerings in alignment with the business strategies.
  • Gain in-depth understanding of business processes to guide a team of product owners on use-cases/user-stories for identified features/capabilities for the identified platforms
  • Train a team of product owners to work in agile framework and be accountable for delivery of product build road map by ensuring that platform road maps prioritised against business are published regularly
  • Maintain regular connect and engagement with key stakeholders periodically to refine platform; lead the team to work towards optimising and improving productivity
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver wireframes, user journeys, and product backlog, and other artifacts as needed to support technical design and development
  • Manage modification and enhancements of existing products to address emerging business, user or regulatory needs
  • Support the team members in day to day issues and escalate to higher management should the situation deem neccesary.

Qualifications

 

Who you are

  • Demonstrated passion for transformative user experiences
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a reputable university / college 
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate internet and mobile banking systems in financial institutions
  • Experience in managing a product line in a Fintech company or Big Tech company will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills to ensure the product roadmap and features are well presented and buy-in obtained from stakeholders
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Experience in leading a team of teams will be highly desired.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Corporate Banking Digital Channels will be highly desired.
