Play a key role in shaping the loan origination and syndication strategy for one of Asia’s leading banks. As a Vice President in our Global Investment Banking Division, you’ll have the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transactions, develop deep relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth of our loan business.
How you succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need to combine strong technical skills with commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the loan market. You’ll work closely with our origination, syndication, and distribution teams to identify opportunities, structure transactions, and execute trades. Your ability to analyze complex financial data, think critically, and communicate effectively will be essential in driving success in this role.
What you do
The candidate will be a member of the loan distribution team within Loan Origination and Syndication and is expected to provide support to the team in the distribution of syndicated loans.

Work as part of a team in executing and distributing primary and secondary syndicated loan transactions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, direct lenders, and other relevant third-party capital providers.

Develop and expand our investor knowledge and network globally. Relevant experience in managing project, structured and asset-backed finance (eg. TMT, Aviation, Shipping) transactions will be essential.

Work jointly with origination teams to develop winning bidding strategies, through a combination of :

Strong market reads and liquidity analysis
-
Develop superior syndication strategies to meet the prevailing deal requirements

Collection and sharing of market intelligence

Providing strong inputs on deal structuring and pricing

Willing to travel and cover non-Asian time zones

Prepare, organize and manage syndication and book-running process, including lenders selection, tiering, invitation letters and dispatching information.

To assist in the organization of roadshows, presentation materials, site visits.

Determine allocations and send out allocation letters.

To arrange and coordinate administrative matter relating to the deal execution including, signing, KYC, etc.

Who you are
- A good Bachelor Degree holder in Finance, Banking or related discipline
- Minimum 7+ years relevant experience in project, structured and asset-backed finance (eg. TMT, Aviation, Shipping) transactions.
- Experience in and understanding of syndicated loans and the Asia Pacific Loan Markets will be a plus.
- Experience with financial modelling and in-depth knowledge of cash flow lending and structures.
- Prior loan sales experience will be a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player.
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
