As a forward-thinking Workday functional analyst with deep technical knowledge, you’ll join our digital HR team to support the implementation and optimization of our new Workday platform. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders, act as a functional authority for Workday-related projects, and contribute to the team’s efforts to leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance employee experience, optimize HR operations, and align with the organization’s strategic goals.

What you do

  • You will work with members of existing HRIS professionals as well as Workday administrators with an opportunity to assume a leadership role
  • Serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the Workday HCM platform
  • Provide leadership for Workday configuration, custom reporting, and system optimisation
  • Design and support implementation of Workday solutions
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure, scalable, and optimized system architecture
  • Work closely with HR COEs to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and project delivery
  • Ensure the Workday platform complies with banking and financial regulations, including data security and privacy requirements
  • Implement access controls, data governance practices, and audit trails to safeguard sensitive information
  • Monitor and evaluate Workday system performance, recommending and implementing enhancements to optimize functionality
  • Stay updated with Workday updates, releases, and industry trends to leverage new features and capabilities
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance the user experience and operational efficiency

Qualifications

 

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience with Workday implementation, configuration, and technical support
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of, and certifications across Workday HCM modules
  • Expertise in Workday integrations (Workday Studio, EIB, PECI, PICOF, Web Services) would be desirable
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and Workday Prism Analytics
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards in the banking / financial sector
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving expertise
  • Experience working in a regulated banking environment is desirable but not a must
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools
