JOB SUMMARY

  • Part of the Group WS COO Team overseeing the sales process in relation to the distribution of Wealth Solution products across the global footprint. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

  • Support the Head, Wealth Management Sales process & Governance in overseeing the implementation of the Group suitability framework, reinforcing exemplary control and governance, ensuring simplified and streamlined sales processes supported by technology.

Business

  • Support WS business with their growth plans whilst ensuring alignment with suitability requirements. 
  • Collaborate with the relevant client segments across the WRB continuum, as well as the other functions and deliver processes that are fit for growth with proper end-to-end assessment of operational risk and controls.
  • Sales process oversight and improvements: focus on countries by supporting them to continuously improve, simplify & introduce efficient initiatives for wealth products sales process.
  • Drive the WM sales process transformation end-to-end, working towards standardisation and consistency across all geographies and segments, with a focus on automation to support sales assurance activities
  • Ensuring there is robust governance around the sales process, collaborating with other support functions to ensure a coherent, seamless delivery and strong governance, ensuring gaps are identified and addressed.
  • Continuously updating the sales process to take into account new industry standards or to align with regulatory expectations.
  • Facilitate robust country engagement on reviewing processes, sharing best practices to drive standardisation, improve productivity and governance standards.

Risk Management

  • Develop / review key WM policies / standards / process documents in consultation with the products and second line partners and roll out of consistent processes to countries with adequate socialisation and training for effective implementation.
  • Strengthen first line operational risk management by ensuring there is a framework for effective management of operational risks across the product/business and compliance with applicable internal policies and external regulations/laws.
  • Identify and proactively manage existing risks as well as emerging trends and horizon risks globally and in countries.
  • Support audit readiness at Group and provide support to WM countries to minimise audit failures.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years’ experience working in Wealth Management domain.
  • Support the Head, Wealth Management Sales process & Governance in overseeing the implementation of the Group suitability framework, reinforcing exemplary control and governance, ensuring simplified and streamlined sales processes supported by technology.
  • Sales process oversight and improvements to be facilitated. Should focus on countries by supporting them to continuously improve, simplify & introduce efficient initiatives for wealth products sales process.
