Shift Leader (Banquet)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Shift Leader is responsible for carrying large trays with food from the kitchen to any table in the Banquet setting. He/She ensures all dishes match with the orders including modifiers and special requests. He/She delivers the correct food to the correct table. He/She has to turnover all the meeting space and function space, including ballroom.. He/She then compares the items with the listing on customer order to verify completeness and accuracy of the order. He/She operates machines similar to the cash register to compute charges.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma 

Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
